Obama-Grade Ad Tech Coming to a Local Campaign Near You

WrightPath Solutions and DSPolitical Partner to Bring Cutting-Edge Advertising Tools to Local and Down Ballot Ohio Democratic Campaigns

CLEVELAND, OH--(Marketwired - Oct 21, 2014) - All politics is local and two political firms are teaming up to make sure that even the smallest Ohio races can reach voters using the most advanced online advertising tools available. DSPolitical, the nation's leading voter targeted digital ad network for Democratic campaigns and progressive causes, and WrightPath Solutions, a top Ohio Democratic political consulting firm, announced the launch today of a new online tool, DemAds.WrightPathSolutions.com, that makes it possible for Democratic campaigns to serve online ads and streaming campaign commercials (known as pre-roll) directly to targeted voters. The announcement comes two weeks before the election when hundreds of thousands of Ohio voters have yet to vote early by mail.

"The timing is excellent," explained Brian Wright, president of WrightPath Solutions. "In off year elections like these, turnout is everything. This is a powerful tool campaigns can use to bring in those uncast early votes -- then make sure their supporters show up on Election Day."

Launched earlier this month, DSPolitical's DemocraticAds is drawing national attention because it gives local campaigns access to the same technologies used by the Obama campaign in 2012. Regardless of their budget, campaigns can now visit the website and easily create and deliver online ads directly to their targeted voters -- a capability previously only available to huge statewide and national efforts.

"It's a game changer. We can now bring highly advanced online advertising resources to campaigns that could have never before afforded this level of direct voter contact. It is an exciting time and we are looking forward to the impact it will have for Democrats in local races throughout the country," explained DSPolitical CEO Jim Walsh.

The service is the latest evolution of over a decade of work by Democrats to develop technologies that leverage behavior modeling and microtargeting to help campaigns reach voters in ways never before possible. The platform leverages DSPolitical's database of 600 million browser cookies that provides a direct link to over 150 million voters in the United States. Voter information is matched to consumer data and other public information to develop advanced voter profiles that campaigns can use to ensure they are reaching the right voter, at the right time, with the right message.

"It's been a challenge for even mid-range campaigns to be able to afford these online advertising capabilities. Today, it doesn't matter if you're running for city council or congress, because now you can reach voters in one of the most effective ways possible regardless of your campaign budget," explained Wright.

Democratic campaigns eager to reach voters directly using this cutting edge tool are encouraged to visit DemAds.WrightPathSolutions.com.
